ALLISON'S ROOM

This interactive installation, created and presented in May 2022, is a response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which happened just weeks before the opening of this show. This piece displays the bedroom of a teenage girl in the early 70s-- before abortion was legalized. Through objects, notes, and furniture, the artist encourages the viewer to uncover the narrative of being forced to administer a non-medical abortion at home.

HOW MANY MORE

This interactive installation, created in 2019 at the Putney Summer Arts Program in Vermont as a part of the artist's concentration in Arts, Activism, Impact, is a response to the rapid increase of school shootings. The piece displays how quickly a school table can become a crime scene, and juxtaposes the closeness of life and death.
